Personalization Policy

What we do with the photo and text you send us, what we can and can't fix, and who owns the artwork.

Your photo

You keep ownership of the photo you upload. By submitting it you give us permission to edit and reproduce it for the purpose of making your order.

We only use your photo in marketing if you give explicit permission — we'll always ask first, and no is a complete answer.

Photo quality

Photo quality directly affects the finished piece. Blurry, very dark, low-resolution or heavily filtered photos limit the detail an artist can recover, particularly around the eyes and fur.

If we don't believe your photo will produce a good result, we'll email you before printing rather than proceed. For memorial commissions we'll always try, because the photo is often the only one that exists.

Proofs and approval

Portraits, canvases and framed artwork include a digital proof. Nothing prints until you approve it, and you can request adjustments — a collar removed, an eye colour corrected, the name reset.

Smaller items such as mugs, ornaments and stickers are produced directly from your details unless you ask for a proof.

Spelling and text

Names, dates and messages are printed exactly as you type them, including capitalization. Please check them carefully — text errors supplied by the customer aren't covered by our returns policy.

Artwork ownership and reuse

The finished artwork is created for your personal use and we keep it on file so you can apply it to other EverPaw pieces later. We don't sell, license or reuse your pet's artwork for anyone else.

Content we can't reproduce

We can't reproduce third-party copyrighted images, logos or brand marks, professional photographs without the photographer's permission, or text that is hateful or unlawful.
