From a photo on your phone to a keepsake on your wall
Five steps, one photo, and a person involved at every stage where it matters.

01
Upload a photo
One clear, well-lit photo taken at your pet's eye level. Send it at original size rather than through a messaging app, which compresses it.
02
Personalize your design
Choose Soft Gouache, Line Study or Classic Oil, then add their name, dates or a short message if you'd like.
03
Choose your keepsake
Framed art, canvas, mug, apparel, blanket, pillow, tote, ornament or keepsake pendant.
04
We create it
An artist finishes the portrait and emails a digital proof on portraits, canvases and framed pieces. Request changes freely — nothing prints until you're happy.
05
Enjoy something made just for you
Your piece is printed, inspected by hand and shipped with tracking. Your artwork stays on file for whatever you add next.
A note on photo quality
Photo quality affects the finished piece more than anything else. Blurry, very dark or heavily filtered photos limit the detail an artist can recover — particularly around the eyes and fur. We'll always work with what you have, especially for memorial commissions, and we'll email you before printing if we don't think the result will do your pet justice. Read our photo guide.
Questions
- How does EverPaw personalization work?
- You upload one photo of your pet and choose a portrait style. An artist removes the background and finishes the portrait by hand. For portraits, canvases and framed pieces we email a digital proof, and nothing is printed until you approve it.
- How long does the whole process take?
- Proofs are usually emailed within 2–3 business days. Production takes 2–7 business days depending on the piece, and US delivery typically adds 4–9 business days.
- Which pets can you work with?
- Dogs and cats most often, plus rabbits, horses, birds and other small companions. If you're unsure, send us the photo before ordering.
- Can I reuse my portrait on other products later?
- Yes. We keep your approved artwork on file so the same portrait can be applied to any other EverPaw piece without starting again.
